Graciosa Island

The second smallest island in the Azores with a population of around 4,000 inhabitants is known as Ilha Branca, due to its geomorphological characteristics. With flat landscapes, with the highest elevation reaching 405 m, the island offers a huge diversity of landscapes.

In 2007 it was classified by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve.

Known for having a “carnivalesque” and welcoming people with unique cultural, religious, social traditions and not to forget the fantastic cuisine full of secrets that stay in the memory of those who taste them.
